Sofia-Afroditi Voulgaraki is a Senior Consultant at Stanton Chase Athens, where she leads Life Sciences and Healthcare executive search for the office. She specializes in executive search and senior leadership appointments across the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem.

With close to two decades of experience across healthcare and life sciences, she combines deep sector expertise, an extensive market network, and a strong understanding of the leadership landscape in Greece. She has led hundreds of executive search assignments for international and Greek pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, private equity-backed businesses, and organizations across the wider healthcare ecosystem, covering senior leadership and critical functional roles.

Her approach combines strategic market mapping, targeted executive identification, rigorous assessment, and extensive senior-level networking, enabling her to provide clients with informed access to high-caliber leadership talent. She works closely with CEOs, country leads, shareholders, and senior HR leaders, developing a clear understanding of the business context and leadership requirements behind each mandate.

Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Sofia-Afroditi served as Principal Director at Kestria Greece, an executive search company, leading all executive search assignments across Greece and contributing as a regular member of the Kestria alliance’s global Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Group.

Earlier in her career, she worked in corporate communications, healthcare media, and stakeholder engagement, including as Group Corporate Communication Manager at Ethos Media S.A. and as Senior Consultant to ministers, general secretaries, public institutions, professional organizations, and NGOs. These positions gave her extensive exposure to the Greek healthcare and life sciences ecosystem and enabled her to build a strong network across its key stakeholders, as well as significant exposure to the education sector.

Her distinctive strength is her broad talent market intelligence and her market-informed approach to executive search, combining sector expertise, strategic perspective, and the ability to engage credibly with senior executives and key stakeholders. This enables her to act as a trusted advisor throughout critical leadership appointments.

She holds an M.A. in Psychology and Media from Panteion University and a B.Sc. in Communication and Mass Media from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
