Roberto Azevedo

As Leader of Advisory at Stanton Chase São Paulo, Roberto specializes in corporate governance, organizational restructuring, and leadership strategy, with 21 years of experience advising C-level executives, boards of directors, and shareholders across major Brazilian corporations and family-controlled businesses.

His practice focuses on three integrated areas: governance (board effectiveness and evaluation, succession planning, family business professionalization), organization (restructuring, post-merger integration, organizational design, and performance systems), and leadership (executive compensation, C-level succession, talent development, and high-performance teams).

He joined Stanton Chase from LFG, a boutique firm specializing in leadership and governance, where he was a Partner. Earlier roles include Partner at EY, leading the People & Organization practice with 110+ professionals, and Executive Director at PwC, where he established the organizational consulting practice and served as lead instructor for B3’s pre-IPO mentoring programs. He began his career at Falconi Consultores de Resultado, developing experience in operations management and performance improvement.

Roberto works across multiple sectors, including retail, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, financial services, and infrastructure, with expertise in regulated sectors and companies undergoing professionalization or preparing for public offerings.

He is a Guest Lecturer at Fundação Dom Cabral in Corporate Governance and People Strategy programs. He serves as a member of People, ESG, and Governance committees at selected organizations.

He holds an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and a degree in Business Administration from IBMEC. His certifications include Corporate Governance from the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC) and the Institute of Directors of the United Kingdom (IoD-UK), and Change Management from Prosci. He has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School. He is fluent in Portuguese and English.
