Michelle Hewett

Michelle Hewett is a Consultant at Stanton Chase Johannesburg, which she joined in July 2026. Her career spans more than 15 years across the media and advertising industries, in sales, marketing, and business development roles. She built up a strong track record in identifying and developing new business opportunities, creating strategic client partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Michelle held senior commercial and business development roles in leading media organisations such as DSTV, Walt Disney, Prime Media Broadcasting, and CNBC Africa. She has gained broad direct exposure to the South African business environment and therefore possesses a deep understanding of the commercial drivers, market dynamics, and evolving leadership requirements that shape organisations today.

Michelle is delighted to now be able to practice this relationship-led approach in executive search, with specific focus in the Industrial and Life Sciences and Healthcare practice groups. Her experience working closely with business leaders, clients, and senior stakeholders enables her to understand not only the technical requirements of any particular role, but also the cultural, strategic, and commercial context in which leaders need to operate.

Michelle holds a diploma in Media Management from AAA School of Advertising, and certificates in Digital Marketing and Sales Management.
