Adrian Czerny

Adrian Czerny is a Partner at Stanton Chase Stuttgart and Global Sector Leader for Aerospace & Defense, a sector that is rebuilding itself through new programs, new production capacity, and a new generation of leaders who have to deliver all of it. Finding those leaders is his work. He advises primes, OEMs, suppliers, and defense-tech companies across Europe on executive appointments that range from Managing Directors brought in to run production ramp-ups to leaders taking established industrial companies into defense. Because those appointments usually sit inside larger questions of ownership and structure, he also works with boards and owners on succession and leadership structures. He is the initiator of the first A&D Leadership Report for the DACH region, which is built on confidential interviews with the sector’s leadership.

Adrian’s route into executive search was an entrepreneurial one. His first role was in logistics in Hong Kong, after which he spent several years in his family business handling sourcing and consulting between Germany and Asia. He moved into executive search in 2018, and in 2019 the team he was part of won the Headhunter of the Year award for Executive Search.

Adrian holds a business degree from Munich. Clients come to him for selection built on structure and evidence rather than gut feeling, for honest assessments in place of polished CVs, and for straight communication in German and English.
