Teresa Hernandez Betancourt

Teresa Hernandez Betancourt is a Director at Stanton Chase Denver. With extensive international experience as a senior global HR executive across various industries including consumer goods, aviation, automotive, manufacturing, consulting, engineering, and mining, Teresa “Tere” understands the unique challenges her clients face, having been in their position herself. 

Tere holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Universidad Anáhuac and a SHRM-SCP certification. Throughout her career in global, public, and private companies, she has held various HR executive positions, overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, DEI, labor compliance, and strategic leadership. She has also provided support to a wide range of business leaders, from board members and C-Suite executives to country managers and multidisciplinary teams.  

Her approach has always been that of a true business partner, leveraging her deep understanding of organizational dynamics to address specific needs in her executive search and leadership advisory consulting. 

Tere is passionate about building high-performing teams that thrive on diverse perspectives. She actively seeks opportunities to share knowledge and collaborate with professionals who share her commitment to creating more efficient, diverse, and people-centered organizations. 

As a 21st-century executive, she is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of work, Tere cherishes time with her family and friends. She has a love for travel, the arts, and culture, and enjoys meeting and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds.
