Markus Dörle is a Partner at Stanton Chase Düsseldorf. Before joining Stanton Chase, he spent more than 20 years as Senior Vice President HR for a family-owned company with over 5 billion EUR in revenue, 20,000 employees, and 50 sales and production companies worldwide. He was responsible for the parent company in Germany as well as for global executives. In this role, he gained extensive experience in executive search for C-level and senior executive positions across various functions on a national and international scale. He is also experienced in setting up a global HR strategy, establishing global HR processes, and supporting business transformation.
Prior to that, Markus spent over 12 years at a French telecommunication company based in Germany. During his last seven years there, he served as Head of HR for a business division, where he also gained considerable experience in organisational transformation.
Since retiring from his corporate career, Markus has been motivated to contribute his experience from the client side of the executive search process. He brings a thorough understanding of customer expectations, particularly in family-owned environments. He is driven by the idea of bringing people together with a view to the best cultural fit. His aim is not only to fill a current position but also to identify candidates with the potential for further development.
Markus is also engaged in volunteer work. For more than 10 years, he has served as a lay judge at the Regional Social Court in Stuttgart and has been active in the self-administration of a German health insurance fund. Among other roles, he is a member of the administrative board as well as the personnel committee responsible for executive matters.
Markus is married and has two children. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He is fluent in English, has a good command of French, and has recently started learning Italian.
