Marcela Uribe Ordoñez is a founding partner of the Stanton Chase office in Panama City, where she has led the firm’s expansion in Panama, Central America, and the Caribbean since 2004. Responsible for opening and consolidating this market for Stanton Chase, Marcela leads executive search and assessment projects with a strategic approach and a strong commitment to quality, positioning the firm as a leading reference in executive talent selection in the region.

Her professional career spans more than 30 years of experience in human resources, marketing, and business development, with a solid track record in multinational companies as well as her own entrepreneurial ventures. Prior to her role at Stanton Chase, she worked at Abbott Laboratories and Hoechst Colombiana as an executive and recruitment and selection coordinator, gaining in-depth experience in talent processes for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

In the consumer goods and marketing arena, Marcela served as Marketing Manager at Ebel International in Colombia, leading market strategy initiatives. She was also Director of New Products at the same company, responsible for key product launches. At Suizo Latinoamérica S.A., she was a founding partner and led the development of the institutional sales strategy, while at Groupe Seb Colombia, she worked as Institutional and Professional Line Executive, opening new markets for well-known brands such as T-Fal and Samurai.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Marcela holds a degree in Psychology with a specialization in Marketing from Universidad de los Andes, a combination that gives her both deep insight into human behavior and a strategic business perspective. She is also a certified coach through the Joseph O’Connor program, complementing her experience with personal development tools.

Marcela has worked on regional and international projects, focusing on industries such as consumer products and services, financial services, life sciences, and healthcare. Her functional expertise includes marketing, sales, sustainability, and ESG, areas in which she provides personalized, strategic services to identify and attract leaders who drive organizational transformation.
