Kudzai Kanyangarara

Kudzai Kanyangarara joined Stanton Chase Johannesburg as a Principal in January 2026. His clear mandate is to grow the team’s capacity and capability to advise clients on executive search and leadership solutions, focusing particularly on the Consumer Products and Services, Industrial and Technology industry sectors.

Kudzai’s previous experience has largely been in media sales and sports management over the past 24 years, holding senior commercial, sales leadership, and business development roles in companies such as CNBC Africa, EuroNews, and JCDecaux Africa. He has worked extensively in multi-country and cross-cultural environments, spanning several key African markets such as Nigeria, Kenya, Angola, Rwanda, and Southern Africa. This exposure has given him a deep appreciation of regional nuances, market dynamics, and leadership requirements across emerging and established economies. He therefore brings a strong commercial perspective and a proven track record of supporting organisations as they navigate growth, transformation, and leadership complexity across the African continent.

His transition into the world of executive search now provides him with an exciting opportunity to further develop and transpose his skill set and expertise in an environment in which he partners closely with executive teams and boards to drive revenue growth, expand into new markets, and strengthen organisational capability through talent.

Kudzai holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Strategic Brand Management from VEGA School, Johannesburg.
