Mika Hassinen

Mika Hassinen is a Senior Partner at Stanton Chase Helsinki. He advises clients on a wide variety of board, C-suite, and director-level recruitment as well as board and leadership assessments and succession plans, especially in the industrial, technology, consumer products and services, and life sciences and healthcare sectors.

During his 30 years of international career experience, Mika has worked for multinational industrial companies and for firms specializing in strategy consulting, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, and executive search. He previously served a Nasdaq Helsinki-listed mid-sized company as Divisional Head and Country Managing Director, Group CFO, and Deputy to the CEO. He has also served as VP of Strategy and SVP of Finance & IT for a Nasdaq-listed large-cap industrial company. In addition, Mika has served as CFO, CEO, and Board Member for privately held enterprises, private equity portfolio firms, and startup companies.

Mika currently serves as a Board Member for two approximately €100 million turnover privately held enterprises in Finland and the Netherlands. Mika is an entrepreneur and investor in startup companies.

Mika holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration (currently Aalto University) in Finland and an M.Sc. in Agriculture and Forestry from the University of Helsinki in Finland.

Mika is fluent in English, Finnish, and Dutch.

When not working, Mika enjoys gym, golf, tennis, downhill skiing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
