Richie Malone

Richie Malone is a Partner at Stanton Chase Houston. He brings over 20 years of strategic HR leadership and employment law expertise across global energy, manufacturing, and professional services organizations. His career includes both top law firms and extensive in-house roles, with 17 years at BP in positions based in Houston and London supporting global businesses.

He has led enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives, serving as Vice President of Future Organization, where he optimized HR structures and processes across global operations. He has directed talent acquisition functions at both BP and LyondellBasell, built and managed teams of up to 60 professionals across multiple countries, and partnered with executives on organizational restructuring, succession planning, and cultural transformation initiatives.

Richie’s dual background as a strategic HR executive and employment attorney provides a unique perspective on people-related challenges facing organizations today. His expertise encompasses managing complex investigations and compliance matters in highly regulated environments, coaching leaders through significant change and crisis management, and implementing workforce strategies that align with business objectives.

Based in Houston, Richie has held progressive leadership roles at BP, including VP of People & Culture for its global Finance organization and Head of HR for the Americas commodity trading group. He holds a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law and a B.A. from Texas A&M University.
