Michael Costello

Michael Costello is an executive search consultant with Stanton Chase Dallas, bringing more than 20 years of experience supporting retained search engagements across retail, industrial, nonprofit, and mission-driven organizations. He specializes in research-driven executive search, helping clients identify and secure senior leaders through disciplined process management, thoughtful candidate engagement, and strong client collaboration.

Michael’s path into executive search began in sales, where he quickly became the top producer in his organization and was asked to recruit, hire, and train the sales team. That experience sparked a lasting interest in recruiting and led him into executive search, where he has since supported leadership searches across a variety of industries. Known for his structured approach and strong candidate relationships, Michael manages the full lifecycle of the search process—from AI-driven research and sourcing strategy through candidate assessment, client presentations, and offer negotiations.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his three daughters, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, and experimenting in the kitchen as an enthusiastic amateur chef.
