Dobromir Minkov

Dobromir began his professional career in the energy sector at Shell Gas Bulgaria (a part of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group). During this time, he supervised an array of industrial projects across Bulgaria. Afterward, he served as a Division Manager of Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Services at SGS Bulgaria, an affiliate of SGS S.A., the global leader in inspection and certification, for four years. In this role, he worked on various projects, including business development, mergers and acquisitions, and managing laboratory outsourcing.​

In late 2007, Dobromir decided to make a career change to pursue a more people-oriented business opportunity with Stanton Chase Bulgaria. Since then, he has completed many successful executive search and leadership advisory projects, some of which aimed to attract top international managers and professionals to Bulgaria. Dobromir believes that attracting international talent is vital to supporting the industrial and energy sectors in Bulgaria to ensure they meet global and EU management and knowledge standards. Dobromir has also placed people in top management positions within the banking sector.​

As a Managing Director at Stanton Chase Bulgaria, Dobromir specializes in the Industrial, Natural Resources, and Energy sectors. His functional focus is on positions such as General Manager, BoD roles, Plant Manager, Production Manager, COO, CFO, BD Manager, and HR Director.​

Dobromir has a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Mining and Geology, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree in Financial Management from the City University of Seattle. He also fills the role of executive mentor and coach, negotiation consultant, and lead tutor to support candidates and clients in their business & career development. career development. ​​
