Anton Suomalainen

Anton Suomalainen is a Researcher at Stanton Chase Helsinki, where he conducts market, business, and executive research. As part of the Helsinki research team, he works on mandates across a range of industries, including cross-border assignments.

Before joining Stanton Chase, Anton spent a year in finance at one of the largest banks in Finland and a year as an SME Business Analyst in management consulting.

He holds a B.Sc. from Turku School of Economics and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree with a major in finance. Prior to his studies, Anton played high-level basketball in Finland and in the U.S.

Besides studies and work, Anton works as CEO of a student-driven venture capital firm in Turku. He leads a six-member team of students that invests in the most promising startups. Through this role, he has developed strong insights into emerging startups and developments in the Finnish venture capital ecosystem.

Outside the office, Anton enjoys playing sports, supporting startups, and reading books. Feel free to challenge Anton to a match in basketball, tennis, or padel.
