Mark Young named a Director of the Stanton Chase Miami office

Mark Young, a veteran retained search professional, has been named a Director of the Miami office of Stanton Chase. The announcement was made by Juan D. Morales, Managing Director of the Miami office.

“It is a pleasure to welcome Mark to our team,” said Morales. “He has vast experience in the retained search sector and will be a real asset as we continue to build our organization here in Florida, and a great benefit to our other offices throughout the world.”

With more than 30 years of experience in the retained search profession, Young has conducted searches for clients throughout North America and around the world. During his career, he has completed assignments for well-known firms in agribusiness, supply chain & logistics, non-profits, and financial services.

The firm is comprised of the finest search professionals in the world, and I’m excited about identifying the finest leaders for our clients as they move into the future.”

Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Young spent seven years as a vice president at A.T. Kearney in Miami and six years heading up the Florida search practice of KPMG Peat Marwick in Miami. He was also president of National Executive Consultants, Inc., a retained executive search boutique that was based in Atlanta and focused on the financial services industry in the southeastern U.S. He also spent four years with a retained executive search firm in Montreal.

Active with the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Young served on the Senior Executive Orientation Committee and was a member of the Chamber’s Trustees. In 2008, he was distinguished as a member of the Chairman’s Circle of the Miami Chamber.  He has also been active with the United Way of Broward County, the Urban League of Broward County, the Camillus House in Miami, and Take Stock in Children.

A native of Canada, Young received his BA degree in psychology from Sir George Williams University in Montreal.
