Stanton Chase, a global retained executive search firm, has appointed George Sphiktos as a new Director in its Washington, DC office. Mr. Sphiktos will strengthen the office’s focus on AI and Analytics and will broaden the office’s expertise in Consumer Goods. Jeff Perkins, Managing Director of the DC office, said, “Bringing George on to our team marks a major milestone. His deep global connections and experience will complement our office’s rapid expansion and strengthen our international network.”
Mr. Sphiktos spent 34 years with The Nielsen Company serving in various senior Operational and Commercial roles. He was responsible for establishing commercial operations for Nielsen in 43 countries, including Russia, Nigeria, Poland, Pakistan, and China. He has worked on location with clients in more than 50 markets. Mr. Sphiktos served on the Board of Nielsen EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Region as well as Nielsen Europe. He was also the European Leader of key industry verticals such as Tobacco and Alcoholic Beverages. He led the Nielsen Central Negotiations Centre of Excellence (COE), which successfully completed over 90 Global-Regional deals worth more than US$1 billion contract value. He has serviced some of the largest Consumer Goods multinationals.

Mr. Sphiktos received a B.A. in Business Studies from Middlesex University, London, UK. He is also a Certified Adult Vocational Trainer running his own Commercial Negotiations workshops across several countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
