The aim of AmCham is “to develop and promote economic and cultural relations between the United States and Italy, to support and protect the interests of its associates’ commercial activities between the two countries, and to disseminate information concerning AmCham’s own activities amongst its members”. The American Chamber of Commerce in Italy is one of the founding members of the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce [hyperlink to: http://amchamsineurope.com/], which serves as the umbrella organization for American Chambers of Commerce from 42 countries throughout Europe and Eurasia. AmCham Europe protects free trade between the European Union and the United States. All AmCham branches are non-profit, non-governmental business organizations accredited as representatives of U.S business in their respective country by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C.

“We are pleased to join this business community,” said Paolo Pellini, Managing Director of the Milan office. “Our membership will strengthen our already deep international cooperation and networks.”
