Christian Skaaning, a Partner at Stanton Chase, has been named Regional Practice Leader for Board & Executive Assessment for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The announcement was made by Wassim Karkabi, Global Head of Board & Executive Assessment.
Skaaning has been a partner at Stanton Chase since 2016, and he brings over 16 years of experience in professional leadership. “I am thrilled Christian has accepted this new leadership role at Stanton Chase,” said Karkabi. “His significant leadership experience, both within the firm and throughout his professional career, has proven to be a significant asset to our Board & Executive Assessment team.”
Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Skaaning held various leadership positions in CEB and SHL including National Sales Director / Country Manager and Vice President. He has extensive knowledge regarding leadership assessment and has worked with many of the leading firms in Denmark and the Nordics. In his capacity as a regional practice leader, he will serve as a senior member of the Board & Executive Assessment Practice at Stanton Chase. Skaaning will also be responsible for oversight of the practice in the EMEA region, and he will continue to develop and facilitate ongoing training initiatives within the firm.

Skaaning holds a leadership education degree from the Royal Danish Naval Academy. He has over 14 years of leadership experience within the Navy, including leading international deployments and was a Commanding Officer on a Danish warship from 2006 to 2008.
