Alberto Bernard

Alberto Bernard is a Director for Stanton Chase Italy. He provides expertise in executive search assignment at the BoD and divisional level and consulting in human resources and general management topics. His is a member of the Industrial, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Insurance/Financial, Professional Services, and Board and Leadership Assessment practice groups.

He has 20-plus years of experience in HR international leadership and general management roles in Fortune Global 500 Companies in automotive, pharmaceutical, insurance/financial services, and building materials. His career started in 1992 at Fiat Group Automobiles, where he served in various HR roles through 2000 with increasing responsibilities before joining Pfizer Global Supply, where he spent 12 years covering the positions of HR Director Latina Plant, HR Country Leader Italy, and Regional HR Director Europe, Africa and Middle East. He was also the Sole Director of Biosearch Manufacturing and Site Leader of Pisticci Plant (Italy) and Global Supply Business Development Director (M&A).

In 2012, Alberto joined Assicurazioni Generali, where he held the role of Director International HR Management and Head of Relations with European Works Council and then HR & Organization Director for the EMEA Region.

In 2016, he joined Cementir as Group Chief HR & Organisation Officer until December 2018.

He holds a degree cum laude in political science and international studies from Rome La Sapienza University. He graduated in advanced management for senior leaders at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France (AMP 114) and is a Chartered Fellow at the Chartered Institute Personnel and Development (UK). Alberto is also a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Professional Counselor.
