At the moment, individual branches of the economy are dealing with very different framework conditions. Some, such as gastronomy, tourism, and much of retail, are under heavy pressure, while others face the challenge of keeping up supply chains and workloads within the parameters of hygiene and social distancing.

Many companies are stepping up to convert production to those products most currently in demand, such as face masks and plexiglass contagion barriers. A high level of automation helps to ensure a hygienic production environment in this regard.

All of these new considerations have changed the requirements for recruitment. While some companies have had to lay off employees, the demand for management potential elsewhere is high and companies are looking ahead to what comes next — after the crisis.

Executive search firms help leaders to fulfill their companies’ needs, and even in these challenging times Stanton Chase is ready to support you in finding the talent you’re looking for.

We are pleased to assure you that we remain fully operational in these times and are on top of finding the best solutions to the new challenges that continue to arise. Despite the current restrictions, we have managed to continue to serve our clients and meet their changing needs.

Market Research

The first step of market research remains, thanks to our employees being equipped with home office capabilities and technology, fully functional and without restrictions. This means that our consultants can continue to conduct desk research, access and update internal and external databases, social networking, and acquiring external recommendations at their usual high level as they seek to identify potential candidates.

Direct Approach

Thanks to our many years of experience and training, we are able act emphatically and carefully as we approach candidates. While we have discovered a higher level of flexibility, accessibility, and availability of candidates across most sectors, industries in crisis who are currently facing considerable pressure might not be approachable at the moment.

Candidate Interviews

Because all of our consultants and partners have equipped home offices with professional-grade cameras and microphones, we are able to conduct interviews by video conferencing. Candidates are even more available for interviews right now than usual, as most are working from home. Likewise, candidate presentations can be easily done via video conferencing, with Stanton Chase taking care of all the logistics.

Evaluation & References

The psychometric testing of candidates can be easily carried out online, and Stanton Chase uses internationally recognized online testing and AI tools to facilitate this process. Collecting a candidate’s references is yet another unhindered step in the project of executive search.

Candidate Presentation & Selection

Lastly, when it comes to making a final decision on recruitment, while the possibilities are certainly limited, we moderate projects beyond the critical phase and seek to maintain the interest of the candidates.

Stanton Chase recommends starting new projects with the disclaimer that a decision might not be reached until the global restrictions have ended. Projects can also be carried out in modules or individual steps; for example, projects can begin with market mapping in order to gain a sound market overview. The candidates can then be addressed at a later date. This procedure enables us to interview candidates and deliver results quickly after the exceptional situation has ended.

We are happy to provide you with further information.
