The financial world is coming under greater scrutiny, and this includes charitable organizations. Consequently, recruitment agencies are seeing a new trend in charities hiring chief financial officers with a strong corporate background.

Cathy Logue, Stanton Chase Global CFO Practice Leader, explains this phenomenon in further detail in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal.  She also notes “hiring for a charity typically takes longer than the six months it takes to fill a corporate role.”
