Rainer Kämpgen

Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Rainer served as a CFO/CIO member of the Board of Directors for EDEKA (Region North Bavaria-Saxony-Thuringia), Germany’s leading food retailer. He also held several high-level management positions at ALDI (North), a top global discount food and non-food retailer.

In both roles, he oversaw finance, controlling, IT, logistics, compliance, HR, and services. Additionally, he was also in charge of modernizing the administration, logistics, and production infrastructure with high investment volume.

Through his many years of leadership and project management experience, he has acquired extensive expertise in executive candidate requirements, selection, and development.

Rainer holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth in Germany. He began his career at WMF AG, the leading German company for quality table, kitchen, and household goods for the consumer and catering industry, serving as an Executive Assistant to the CEO and Head of Marketing for WMF retail.

Rainer is fluent in both German and English. He is also proficient in Spanish.

Rainer is married and has two adult daughters. Outside of work, he’s involved in the Lions Club as a volunteer. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and is interested in music, literature, travel, and sports.
