Nathan Motjuwadi has over 32 years of blue-chip corporate experience, spanning several well-recognised global and local organisations. In May of 2022, he joined Stanton Chase’s Johannesburg office.

After starting off in the teaching profession, Nathan embarked on a successful career in the HR and People Development sphere. Between August 2010 and July 2021, he was employed as the Executive HR at Capitec Bank where he led and managed the phenomenal growth and expansion of the human capital side of the bank’s operations. Nathan’s time in this role is best described as an extremely challenging and satisfying experience. He is proud to have been at the helm of Capitec Bank’s success story.

Between January 2009 and August 2010, before joining Capitec Bank, Nathan served as an HR Director at Danone Southern Africa, a leading global dairy and confectionary business. Between December 1999 and July 2010, Nathan cut his teeth in the HR profession at Coca-Cola South Africa, moving up through the ranks and ending up as Group HR Manager. He also spent three years on secondment working in London (UK).

Nathan has a tertiary level teaching qualification, a Bachelor of Social Science degree from the University of Cape Town, and an MBA from Milpark Business School.
