Karsten Jurkowski

Karsten Jurkowski is a Partner at the Stuttgart office of Stanton Chase. He specializes in the life sciences, healthcare, and financial services sectors. He also is a strategic adviser to organizations planning to expand to the Asia/Pacific region.

Karsten has extensive international business experience working in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

He began his business career in the aviation industry, followed by different positions held within a blue-chip company in the global consumer goods industry. As Global Head of Human Resources, he was strategically and operationally responsible for international recruitment, leadership effectiveness and organizational development. Through these functions, he was successful in filling various international management positions.

As General Manager for Asia in the medical devices industry, he was able to develop a deeper understanding of the different markets in the region. With this knowledge he also helped other businesses find the right strategy and leadership teams to successfully start and enhance their presence in the Asia/Pacific region.

As an entrepreneur, he founded his own busines in real estate development in southeast Asia, expanding his knowledge of establishing and growing businesses within a challenging cultural environment.

Karsten holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from the ESCP-EAP Business School in Paris. He communicates fluently in German, English, and French.

In his spare time, Karsten is into fitness and enjoys playing golf. He also likes fine dining and a good glass of wine.
