Ivo A. Hahn
Before establishing Stanton Chase International in Greater China, Hahn was Country Head of PA Consulting Group’s Executive Search business in Asia. Prior to that, he was Search Director of Boyden in Greater China.
Ivo is a certified user of several scientific psychometric assessment tools including PAPI (Cubiks), OPQ (SHL), MPA & Easi (Master International).
Ivo held top management and sales & marketing positions in a broad spectrum of industries, incl; food, non-food and durable consumer goods, OTC & pharmaceuticals, luxury goods as well as machinery systems for various manufacturing industries.
Ivo Hahn began his professional career in 1982 in Hong Kong with DKSH (Diethelm Keller Siber Hegner), specializing in marketing, sales, logistics and the distribution of consumer, healthcare and technical product lines, focusing on North Asia.
In 1987, Ivo moved to Johnson & Johnson to implement a significant expansion of their healthcare, baby, sanitary protection and OTC franchises. In 1992, he was appointed General Manager of C. Melchers, a German trading house with diversified product lines focusing on business development and joint-venture negotiations in China. In 1994, Hahn was appointed Managing Director of SIG-Combibloc Taiwan, a global supplier of aseptic carton packaging systems. He was soon promoted to President of North Asia, covering Taiwan, Hong Kong, PR China, Korea and Japan.
In 1999, he founded his executive search firm, Xecutive Group Ltd, which later became the partner of Stanton Chase International in Greater China. Hahn also established the Logistics & Transportation practice for Stanton Chase and served for three years as Vice Chairman Global Practice Groups on the Board of Directors of SCI.
Ivo Hahn’s extensive knowledge of Asia Pacific combined with his broad experience in diverse industries and senior line functions, enable him to advise clients on all critical aspects of establishing and managing businesses in Asia Pacific.
Born and raised in Switzerland, Hahn speaks German, French, English, and Chinese; he graduated from the Swiss Federal School of Commerce and majored in Marketing & Economics at IMD in Lausanne. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Swiss Chamber in Hong Kong.
