
Deadrick Baker
Deadrick (D.D.) Baker is an Advisory Director at the Nashville office of Stanton Chase. Previously, he served two years as a Director of the team.
D.D. started his career as a Motor Transportation and Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed his passion for linking business strategy to effective human resources and people strategies. He gained extensive executive leadership experience serving in a variety of executive level HR and operational roles at multiple Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare, energy services, financial services, insurance, publishing and technology industries, including Motorola, Pfizer, AOL/Time Warner, CIGNA, MassMutual, Pacific Life, and Health Essentials. He now serves as the Chief People Officer at Trader Interactive, in Norfolk, Virginia.
D.D. excels at driving strong operational performance by equipping executive leaders to increase their effectiveness with team members, peers, and leaders. While at Health Essentials, as part of a succession planning and high potential talent identification program D.D. developed new leadership competencies and established an executive assessment and coaching process for the top 200 leaders, resulting in a 5% improvement in employee satisfaction.
D.D. attended the United States Naval Academy, where he played football, and Excelsior College, obtaining a degree in mathematics.
