Alexander Baron von Hahn

With a solid track record of more than 15 years in the assessment and selection of corporate leaders, Alexander von Hahn is a trusted adviser for supervisory boards and C-level executives.

Beyond executive search, predominantly in the industrial and consumer goods sectors, Alexander is a conversant Partner in board services, advisory, and assessment.

He is certified by Deutsche Börse AG for supervisory board and director roles in listed companies corresponding to the requirements of the German Corporate Governance Code. Alexander provides independent counsel and valuable services for board-related issues, such as Director succession planning, search and compensation benchmarking, board performance evaluation, and general corporate governance advice on board formation and the nomination process.

Due to his vast experience in several cross-border projects in Europe, the Americas, and Asia, Alexander has access to an outstanding network of leadership connections for helping our clients build diverse leadership teams.

Accuracy and speed are the main characteristics of his approach. He plays a highly personal part in all his assignments with eminently direct rapport.

Before joining Stanton Chase as a Partner in 2012, Alexander spent five years with Greenwell Gleeson, as the Managing Consultant responsible for their executive search teams in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Previously, he went through the management trainee program of Enterprise Holdings, one of the largest private U.S. companies with 20+bn. revenue in mobility solutions.

Alexander holds a diploma in business administration from the Berlin School of Economics and Law and is certified as Qualifizierter Aufsichtsrat. He is qualified by Hogan and KornFerry on several assessment methodologies. He completed officers’ training in human intelligence services in the military rank of Captain. Alexander resides in Düsseldorf with his wife and their two boys.
