William (Bill) Bellet, Ph.D.
Bill Bellet has thirty years of experience in operations management, business development and consulting with multinational corporations, privately-held businesses and universities. He is co-founder and principal in several firms: Bellet, Sieveking & Associates, The Legacy Consulting Group, The Southeastern Family Business Institute, and The Cross Cultural Assistance Group. He consults extensively with organizations to assist in the selection and retention of their best talent through comprehensive pre-employment evaluations, alignment of individual and corporate goals, coaching and developing leaders, andcreating systems for accountability. He has conducted well over 5000 pre-employment and executive vocational evaluations; designed and implemented employee and customer satisfaction surveys for over 750 firms worldwide.
For eight years, Bill worked as Director of Marketing Research and later as Vice President with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in Operations and Business Development in Europe and Southeast Asia. He later co-founded and directed the Center for Family Business at Belmont University. Today, he also specializes in work with family-owned business succession and governance planning during intergenerational transitions, strategic planning, leadership development, career counseling, and conflict resolution among partners and family members in privately held firms.
Throughout his career, he has maintained a private clinical and consulting practice working with individuals, families, businesses and coordinating the work of other professional service providers with his clients. Bill’s clinical work focuses on marriage and family counseling.
Dr. Bellet resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife, Marie and youngest two of their nine children. Bill serves on the boards of several privately-held business and non-profit organization boards. He has published multiple articles in many professional journals. He has been an active Rotarian for over twenty years. Bill and his wife Marie regularly conduct joint presentations and seminars on marriage and parenting in the U.S., Canada and Central America.
