Paul Johnson

Paul Johnson attracts superior leadership through his unique consultative approach and finely tuned assessment and counseling skills. Paul brings with him 20 years of experience in the executive search industry and an additional 10 years in human resources consulting.  He has successfully completed hundreds of leadership searches and coaching assignments and serves a wide variety of industries including the Industrial, Technology, and Non-profit sectors.

Paul served as a Director in the Stanton Chase Birmingham, Alabama office, assisting client companies in finding their executive leaders.  He specialized in the Industrial, Consumer Products, and Non-Profit industry sectors.  Before joining Stanton Chase, Paul founded and successfully built his own executive search firm, conducting assignments for Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Software, and Non-profit organizations.

Prior to founding his firm, Paul served as Managing Director with global consulting firm Drake Beam Morin and as a consultant with the Industrial Psychology firm of Blankenship & Seay. Prior to moving into the consulting world, Paul served in Human Resources for 11 years, primarily in Talent Acquisition Management roles with technology manufacturers Codex Corporation (a Motorola company) and Datapoint Corporation.

A native of Birmingham, Paul earned a B.S. Degree in International Affairs from the Air Force Academy and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas in San Antonio.  He maintains a career counseling practice at Covenant Counseling & Education Center and is on Associate Staff with The Navigators.
