Michael T. Holmes
Michael brings over 30 years of experience to Stanton Chase’s Nashville office. He specializes in helping connect great talent with great organizations, especially organizations that truly value and leverage high potential, ethnically diverse talent. He possesses proven, in-depth knowledge and expertise in the areas of leadership development, talent acquisition, and management, career coaching and mentoring, as well as skills/competency-based training. Michael’s career demonstrates his proactive approach to career management, having worked in a rich variety of areas, such as corporate, non-profit, higher education and as an entrepreneur.
Michael has held senior-level roles with for-profit and non-profit organizations, driving their goals, strategies, initiatives, and processes for Human Capital Management, Talent Acquisition, Employee Performance, Change Management, and Leadership Development. He has successfully led and managed teams, ranging from 4 to over 100 employees, with as many as 20 remotely deployed direct reports. Additionally, he has had P&L responsibility for annual operating budgets of $3 million to $10 million. Yet, Michael prides himself most on the opportunity he has had to coach, mentor and contribute to the lives of thousands of professionals who have achieved their career goals and today are leaders in the fields of academia, business, engineering/manufacturing, entertaining, non-profit and medicine. These leaders have continued to give back to their communities and advocate for positive change and equity.
Michael is a man of deep faith, and he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. In September 2016, Michael was among eleven community leaders who were honored by President Barack Obama as Champions of Change for College Opportunity. He previously held assessment certifications in Myers-Briggs and Lominger’s Voices.
