Farid Hamid

Farid Hamid joined Stanton Chase International’s Kuala Lumpur office in 2022 as a Partner. In the 34 years prior to this, he worked for five global companies, various Malaysian government agencies, Government Linked Companies (GLCs), and major consulting firms.

Farid has worked in the consulting services industry since 1990. Previously, he worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Coopers & Lybrand’s Executive Search departments, specializing in Government & Public Sector and Professional Services assignments.

Farid has not only served government clients as a PwC Director but has also held senior management positions in agencies under the Prime Minister’s Department and the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

Additionally, Farid held management positions at Deloitte, IBM, and ExxonMobil for more than 12 years.

Farid holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Swansea, Wales, UK, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Essex, UK.
