Daniel is a customer-focused, execution-driven trusted advisor to boards and senior management in the manufacturing, industrial and consumer sectors, among others. He is known for his sustained, outstanding performance over his 13-year executive search career and for his expertise in the selection of executive leaders, which he developed as the Chief Human Resources Officer for a $12 billion corporation.
Companies today need globally diverse teams and Daniel has personally managed global executive teams at a high corporate level. He has built his own experienced, globally-diverse search team that he deploys on each engagement for continuity and fast response. His deep industry experience lends authority and credibility to his recommendations as does his hands-on approach to every search he conducts. Daniel takes full responsibility for every aspect of the candidate and client experience. He applies tools and technology to add rigor to his searches.
Daniel holds an Advanced Certification in the Birkman Method and uses this internationally renowned instrument to fully understand the behaviors and motivations of finalists, ensuring the best fit for his placements. In his previous role, Daniel led the Human Resources function for Tyco Fire & Security, a $12 billion, global enterprise. Daniel was a key member of the M&A team, spearheading leadership assessment and building the post-acquisition leadership teams in a time of explosive growth for the company. Daniel also directed organizational design and global talent management programs, driving effectiveness and “best in class” Human Resources. Now, he leverages this experience to help his client’s select leaders who have the necessary qualities to drive innovation and success in the increasingly global economy.
Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama where he played football for the legendary coach, Paul “Bear” Bryant. He holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business. He has completed numerous executive development programs, including the Harvard School of Business Strategic Human Resources Management Program.
