Daniel Casteel has been named Regional Vice President of Stanton Chase Executive Search, a global retained executive search firm with 73 offices in 46 countries.
Casteel, currently the Managing Director of the Stanton Chase Nashville office, will oversee the activity of the 16 offices in the United States and Canada. He succeeds Dean Bare, Managing Director of the Atlanta office.
The announcement was made by Mickey Matthews, International Chairman of Stanton Chase.

Since establishing the Nashville Office of Stanton Chase in 2005, he has completed assignments for general management and c-level functional leaders, with an emphasis in the human resources, consumer, industrial and healthcare sectors. His client list includes Fortune 500, middle market and private equity portfolio companies.
Casteel serves as Global Practice Leader for the Human Resources Specialty Practice. In his new role, Casteel will also focus on a North American growth strategy that will involve the opening of new Stanton Chase offices and strengthening existing locations.

Prior to his career in executive search, Casteel led the human resources function for TYCO, an $11 billion global enterprise. As a key member of the mergers and acquisitions team, he was responsible for leadership assessment and establishing the post-acquisition leadership teams. Additionally, he directed the organizational design and talent management programs globally.
Last year, Casteel orchestrated the merger of a prestigious retained executive search firm with a focus on the healthcare sector into the Nashville office. This merger represents the ongoing expansion of Stanton Chase’s global Healthcare and Life Sciences Healthcare Practice Group.
He holds an Advanced Certification in the Birkman Method® and leverages this internationally renowned assessment to better understand the behaviors and motivations of executive candidates.
Casteel received his bachelor’s degree in 1983 from the University of Alabama where he played football under the legendary Paul Bear Bryant. He holds a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business. He has completed numerous executive development programs, including the Harvard School of Business Strategic Human Resource Management Program.
