We are pleased to inform you that Dobromir Minkov, Partner at Stanton Chase International Bulgaria, attended the sixth edition of Grand Charity Ball on 27 January 2014.
The event was very successful and raised the smashing 25,000 leva! The fantastic outcome came in result of the commitment of many BBLF members and supporters who chose to give a hand to the two worthy causes supported by the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum - breast cancer awareness and prevention via free screenings in remote areas and reducing the number of newborns abandoned at institutions by providing material and social support to their disadvantaged parents.
Most of the proceeds came from the auction that offered a T-shirt signed by Stan Petrov, a football carrying the signatures of the Bulgarian national team, a singular designer wrist watch from Maxim Behar’s personal collection, a Bulgarian traditional dress and other attractive items on the intriguing and diverse catalogue.
The charitable event brought together more than 80 business representatives from numerous big companies in Bulgaria, such as Actavis, Astra Zeneca, Green Life, Deutek, Deloitte Bulgaria, Denkstatt, AG Capital, J Point, Ecopharm, Europack, Teach for All Foundation, Tassev Brothers, TNT Bulgaria, Hewlett Packard, Dundee Precious Metals Chelopech who were the main buyers, along with Stanton Chase.
Driven by our corporate social responsibility, Stanton Chase Bulgaria decided to attend the Ball. Due to our prosperous year, the team set up a budget and Dobromir’s wish for charitable giving made the amount with additional personal funding for buying a designer watch. The item was from Maxim Behar’s personal collection that showed the time at his meetings with the likes of Pope John Paul II and the Prince of Wales. The BBlf expressed its gratitude to him for his donation.
