Emerson has been an executive recruiter for more than 20 years. He has conducted numerous searches at C-level and senior-management levels across Canada, North America and Europe, for companies that operate in virtually every sector including manufacturing, natural resources, transportation, technology, financial services, pharmaceutical, academia and not-for-profit, to mention just a few. The roster of functional areas extends to every business discipline. He also recruits board members for public- and private sector enterprises.

Emerson brings to his clients a well-honed search expertise and methodology, as well as a unique ability to quickly develop a clear understanding of corporate strategy and how that translates into the acquisition of key executives who execute beyond expectations. Emerson founded GAAP, a Montreal-based retained search firm. In addition, he co-founded a number of private companies, which include software development, psychometric testing, import-export, and professional sports representation. As well, he sits on the board of a number of private companies and foundations, as well as a publicly traded company. Emerson is a graduate of McGill University.

Steve Johnstone

Steve, a graduate of Concordia University, was an executive with a large international manufacturing organization prior to launching his own recruiting company for senior technical, manufacturing and financial management personnel. Subsequently, he joined GAAP Executive Search in Montreal.

Steve has managed search assignments in all disciplines for all levels of management, including C-level. He has recruited across Canada, the U.S. and Europe for a diverse client base.

Steve has extensive experience sourcing specialized, esoteric talent for specialized technical roles, and senior management for the natural resource industries, but his primary focus has been senior management positions in telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and technical manufacturing organizations.

 

Shawn Davidson

Originally from California, Shawn is a graduate of the University of Utah, and has been an executive recruiter in Montreal for 20 years. During that time she has distinguished herself as an individual with keen sense of business strategy and process.

Shawn has handled a variety of middle, senior, and C-level recruiting assignments for companies in the pharmaceutical, financial services, information technology, transportation, high-tech, telecom, and manufacturing industry . Shawn also acts as our head of research and technology, ensuring that the firm stays ahead of the curve.

 

Aggie Wybraniec

Aggie graduated from Concordia University, with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Human Resources Management. She joined GAAP Executive Search five years ago in a research and market intelligence capacity, and has progressively expanded her scope of activity. She has assumed responsibility for mid-and senior management search assignments in the pharmaceutical, financial services, tax and accounting, high-tech, and consumer goods industries. Prior to joining GAAP, Aggie held research positions in the financial services and telecom industries.
