Gert HeroldManaging Partner Gert offers 20 years of experience in executive search and human resources consulting in Austria and Western, Central and Eastern Europe. He successfully managed more than 400 assignments for clients in various industries, mainly focusing on the manufacturing/industry, consumer goods and high tech. Gert is a partner in Stanton Chase International's Vienna office. From 2004 to 2006 and from 2008 onwards, he serves as a VP EMEA of Stanton Chase International. Prior to joining Stanton Chase International, Gert was a Partner with a Top-4 Executive Search Firm´s Vienna office for eight years, focusing on Austrian and CEE searches as well as pan-European searches and management audits for local and international clients. Before this, Gert was a Partner of a leading Austrian search firm, where he conducted executive search assignments mainly in the fast moving consumer goods and manufacturing industries and headed their selection business in Austria. Gert launched his professional career as a strategic consultant for a leading international consulting company, handling projects in Austria, Western Europe and the United States, mainly focusing on clients in the manufacturing and paper industry. Gert holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and Economics from Vienna's University of Economics and Business Administration. He is fluent in German and English. Heimo HechtEMEA Regional Practice Leader - Life Sciences and Healthcare Heimo gained 12 years of substantial management experience in the Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech industry, working as Manager for companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim and the CH Werfen Group in Austria and Central Europe. In 2000 he joined Eblinger & Partner, an Austrian recruitment firm specialising in the pharmaceutical industry, to become Managing Partner. In 2004 Heimo founded the Life Sciences Division of an international executive search company concentrating on the Central and Eastern European market. His operational background in the pharmaceutical industry as well as many years of successful HR consulting afford him an in-depth understanding of client needs on a wide variety of executive management levels and functions. The rare blend of experiences make him uniquely qualified for senior management searches in all areas of the life sciences sector. Due to his intensive experience in the highly specialized biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries, Heimo also offers deep knowledge in the field of start-ups and venture capital firms. Heimo holds a Masters Degree in Pharmaceuticals from the University of Vienna and is fluent in German and English. Alexander KailManaging Partner Alexander offers comprehensive experience in Europe wide executive search with a focus on Austria as well as Central and Eastern Europe. From 2005-2006, he expanded his experience in successfully leading pan-European searches by serving as EMEA Practice Leader Industrial for Stanton Chase International. Before joining Stanton Chase International, Alexander was Principal Consultant and Partner with two of the leading Executive Search companies in Europe for over 12 years, focusing on Austrian and CEE searches in manufacturing, technology and FMCG. Prior to that he took over sales- and marketing responsibility at Austria's leading quality newspaper. During his studies at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Alexander gained valuable CEE experience working for a trading company for over five years. Michael SchaumannGlobal Practice Leader, Financial Services With more than fifteen years of international executive search experience, Michael was appointed Global Practice Leader Financial Services in 2012. He has also been an active member of the firm´s “Industrial” and “Natural Resources and Energy” practices since 2006. In addition to this, he has established himself as a long-standing trusted advisor to the owners of privately held enterprises and foundations in Austria. Due to Michael´s pragmatic understanding of the needs of entrepreneurs, he has built up a large number of successful management teams for family-owned businesses at home and abroad. After completing his Master's degree, Michael began his professional career as an Associate and Research Consultant with one of the longest-standing Austrian executive search companies, where he focused on board level and senior management mandates for clients in Austria and the emerging CEE markets. Four years later, Michael moved to one of the leading global search firms as a Senior Associate. During this period, one of his most demanding projects and major achievements was establishing the company’s internet-based recruiting subsidiary, which was subsequently launched across Europe. In addition, he conducted board level recruiting assignments in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the CEE countries. Michael then accepted an offer to join a boutique search firm to build up its new "Financial and Professional Services" business. He also assumed the role of a Project Manager for the company's activities in CEE countries. Michael studied Business Administration at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Franz RoisPartner Franz has 12 years experience in management consulting and executive-level management in leading international companies. He is now a Partner with Stanton Chase Vienna and a member of the company’s Technology, Professional Services, and Logistics and Transportation practice groups. In his consulting work, Franz concentrates on top-level assignments in the telecommunications and advanced technology industries in Europe and the Middle East. He also provides executive assessment, leadership consulting and board services. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Franz was a Partner and Director of a leading international management consulting company. In this role, he provided support to a range of large international companies in improving their strategy and operations, and becoming the trusted advisor for many top executives. His consulting experience spans more than 20 countries in Europe, America and the Middle East. Franz also gained experience as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer and a member of the Executive Board of Tele2 Austria. In addition to managing operations in the marketing and sales departments, he concluded the merger and integration of a much larger target company and implemented a successful growth strategy. Previously, Franz also held the position of Vice President at T-Mobile International in London, where he was responsible for the development of the company’s international business market strategy and the management of large multinational projects. Franz holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and a Masters Degree in International Management (MIM) from CEMS. Maria BuzinkayovaSenior Consultant Maria specializes in the Financial Services, Professional Services and Industrial sectors and has been in executive search for more than 10 years. Viktoria ProdanConsultant Viktoria joined Stanton Chase International in 2011. She has been involved in executive search since December 2008, starting her career with a boutique firm conducting searches in Hungary and Austria. Viktoria specializes in the Industrial and Consumer Products and Services practice group as well as in projects in the Logistics and Transportation industry. Additionally, Viktoria has a strong and ongoing involvement in CEE and international assignments.
