Stanton Chase International is pleased to announce a new Board of Directors. The board has been selected by Stanton Chase partners from around the world to lead and direct Stanton Chase’s expanding ability to serve international executive search clients.
In 2009, Stanton Chase increased its locations to 68 offices in 40 countries, despite the challenges of the global economy. Additional expansion will be announced in 2010.
Taking on the role as International Chairman is James Allen of the Sydney, Australia office. As International Chairman, Mr. Allen leads the global leadership team and chairs the Governance Committee. A chemical engineer by training, Mr. Allen has been with Stanton Chase for 14 years and is experienced in many sectors, particularly natural resources.
Each of the other Board Members focuses on a key area of service to clients.
- Joining the Board as Vice Chairman Regions is Panos Manolopoulos of the Dubai, United Arab Emirates office. Mr. Manolopoulos joined Stanton Chase in 2003 prior to which he was Managing Director of IKRP Rokas and Partners, one of the largest regional law consulting firms in Southeast Europe. As Vice Chairman, Mr. Manolopoulos assists in strategic expansion planning and stimulating business development activities on targeted accounts and in determining the involvement of the appropriate industry specialist.
Three Board Members are continuing their roles:
- Continuing his role as Vice Chair Chairman Finance and Administration is George F. Cross of the London, England office. An accountant by training, Mr. Cross has been with Stanton Chase for 20 years and has a particular focus on engineering and manufacturing as well as an extensive knowledge of construction and natural resources and energy. As Vice Chairman, Mr. Cross ensures seamless business relationships with clients through effective financial, corporate secretarial and administration management.
- Continuing his role as Vice Chairman Business Excellence is Ward Garven of the Calgary, Canada office. Mr. Garven joined Stanton Chase in 2006, and brings decades of experience in executive leadership, sales and marketing, and the expansion of operations throughout North America, across Europe and Asia. As Vice Chairman, Mr. Garven is responsible for service standards and quality, global marketing and media relations.
- Continuing his role as Vice Chair Chairman Practice Groups is Ivo Hahn of the Greater China office. A 28-year resident of Hong Kong, Mr. Hahn joined Stanton Chase in 2007. He has held senior management, sales and marketing positions in a many industries including consumer goods, luxury goods, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, building materials and machinery systems for manufacturing. As Vice Chairman, Mr. Hahn provides global leadership and integration for Stanton Chase practice groups to maximize client service. Practice groups include:

- Industrial, Life Sciences and Healthcare;
- Logistics and Transportation;
- Natural Resources and Energy;
