International Partners factor impact on executive search
London, England, December 13, 2012
Stanton Chase International reports a very positive response from its 45th global Partner meetings held in Zurich November 14-18. In addition to the regular meetings of global regions and practice groups, international Partners and clients were energized and informed by a remarkable presentation and panel on international competitiveness. Approximately 100 Stanton Chase Partners attended the Zurich meetings.
“These meetings help us share knowledge and sustain the working relationships which are vital to meet the needs of our national and multinational clients,” says George Cross, International Chairman. “At this meeting, our Partners engaged with colleagues, as well as many industry leaders and clients, discussing client service and important market trends. We are very pleased with the outcomes of the Zurich sessions,” says Cross.
The highlight of the meetings was a thought-provoking and stimulating keynote presentation and panel discussion on the topic of global economic competitiveness. Held during a client reception attended by nearly 200 Partners and clients, this presentation and dialogue laid out the reality of current global economic conditions, the impact on national and regional economies, and the consequences for business.
The keynote presentation was given by Alois Zwinggi, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum. Mr. Zwinggi’s comments were based on the Global Competitiveness Report recently released by the World Economic Forum. The panel was moderated by Martin N. Naville, CEO of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, who used an innovative approach, asking panelists to debate key questions. Panelists included:
- Barbara Artmann, Owner and CEO of Künzli SwissSchuh Ltd., Switzerland;
- Rolf Habben-Jansen, CEO DAMCO International, A.P.M.M., Denmark, part of the A.P.MOLLER-MAERSK GROUP, Copenhagen;
