Stanton Chase Event to Focus on Service and the Global Economic Competitiveness

45th International Partners Meeting in Zurich

London, England, November 9, 2012

Stanton Chase will focus on service and the global economic competitiveness at its 45th international partners meeting November 14 to 18 in Zurich.  The event will bring together executive search consultants from the firm’s 73 worldwide partner offices.

“It is a pleasure to be meeting in Zurich,” says George Cross, Stanton Chase International Chairman. “Zurich is not only beautiful and historic, it is one of the world’s most important financial and business centres. It is a perfect location to improve our understanding of global economic challenges and trends and how they affect the service we provide our clients,” he says.

The meetings will include two days of group sessions which will look at service issues and trends from both a regional and practice group perspective. Regional discussions on November 15 will be followed by industry and sector practice group sessions on the 16th.   Specific focus will be on life sciences and healthcare, financial services, logistics and transportation, professional services, consumer products and services, technology, and the large and diverse industrial group.

“As always, learning and continuous improvement is a key theme of these sessions and a major reason we invite clients and guest speakers,” says Cross. “Our Thursday evening reception for clients is always a highlight,” he says.

The Thursday reception will feature a panel discussion on global economic competitiveness. The discussion will be introduced by Alois Zwinggi, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum. His topic will be “Keys to Competitiveness: What are the New Models?” Mr. Zwinggi’s comments will be based on the Global Competitiveness Report recently released by the World Economic Forum.

The panel will discuss competitiveness in Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia-Pacific regions, focusing on Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS). The panel will be moderated by Martin N. Naville, CEO of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. In addition to Mr. Zwinggi, panelists will include:
