Stanton Chase Global Meeting Concentrates on Industry Specialization and Client Service

International Partners Focus on Key Areas of Service and Boston Expansion

London, England, May 4, 2012

Stanton Chase International reports positive outcomes from its 44^th international partners’ meeting held in Chicago April 12-14.  Key outcomes included the enhancement of client services in international industries and sectors, increased focus on partner services in executive assessment and Board and CEO search, and expansion into the Boston market. Ninety-three Stanton Chase partners attended, coming from 33 countries in all regions of the world.

“We hold these meetings twice a year to facilitate the knowledge sharing and working relationships which are vital for meeting the needs of national and multinational clients,” says George Cross, International Chairman. Partners meet with colleagues, industry leaders and clients to share information on client service and markets, discuss industry and economic trends, and investigate enhancements to client service and practice.

The primary focus of the Chicago meeting was services to key industries and sectors. “We held dedicated breakout sessions and work-shops for seven industry practice groups over two days,” says Mickey Matthews, Vice Chairman Practice Groups and Managing Director in the Baltimore office.  “The meetings were very productive. Partners brought insights from their own markets and discussed best-practice approaches to meeting the needs of each industry or sector, and enhancing our client service and outcomes,” he says. 

A highlight of the meetings was a panel discussion with international business leaders. The panel featured Rishad Tobaccowala, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer for Vivaki; Gannon Jones, Chief Marketing Officer of the Pepsico Global Nutrition Group; Grant McCullagh, Chairman of GIBS LLC.; and Peter McDonald, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of United Airlines.  These leaders generously offered many candid insights about industry, economic and business management trends.

Another highlight was discussions around executive assessment services, and services specifically at the client Board and CEO level.  Discussions revealed the significant existing strength and expertise of Stanton Chase in these areas. Partners discussed ways to build on existing strengths and enhance the presentation of these services to clients.

In a final development, client service capacity was deepened with the addition of Boston as the 73^rd  global partner. “This expansion brings our international services directly to the Boston business community, and strengthens our service in the financial sector,” says Cross.

“The greatest outcome of these meetings is always the development of new understandings and relationships with colleagues and clients, and the renewal of existing ones,” says Cross. The 45^th Stanton Chase International Partners’ meeting will be held November 15-17, 2012 in Zurich, Switzerland.
