Gert is one of the most experienced Executive Search consultants in Austria and offers more than 20 years of experience in Executive Search and human resources consulting in Austria and Western, Central and Eastern Europe. He successfully managed more than 500 assignments for clients in various industries, mainly focusing on the Industrial (Construction Material, Chemical, Automotive, Pulp & Paper, Mechanical Engineering) and Consumer Goods and Services sector. Gert is Managing Partner in Stanton Chase International’s Vienna office. From 2004 to 2006 and from 2008 onwards, he served as a VP EMEA of Stanton Chase International.

Prior to joining Stanton Chase International, Gert was a Partner with a Top-4 Executive Search Firm´s Vienna office for eight years, focusing on Austrian and CEE searches as well as pan-European searches and management audits for local and international clients. Before this, Gert was a Partner of a leading Austrian search firm, where he conducted executive search assignments mainly in the fast moving consumer goods and manufacturing industries and headed their selection business in Austria.

Gert launched his professional career as a strategic consultant for a leading international consulting company, handling projects in Austria, Western Europe and the United States. Gert holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and Economics from Vienna’s University of Economics and Business Administration. He is fluent in German and English.
