Stanton Chase Increases Presence in the Swiss Marketplace

Dallas, Texas, USA, May 24, 2006 – Stanton Chase International has expanded its presence in Switzerland and deepened its expertise in life sciences and healthcare with the addition of Pharma Plan to its global footprint. Based in Basel, Pharma Plan was established 15 years ago and since then has developed a reputation as Switzerland's premier search firm in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical equipment business. The Basel office will enhance Stanton Chase’s healthcare specialization in Zurich as well as throughout the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

With this merger, the Stanton Chase client base expands to include both head offices and subsidiaries of the world leading companies in the healthcare field such as Abbott, Astra Zeneca, Aventis, Eli Lilly, Glaxo, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis. Stanton Chase Basel consultants have relevant line and management experience in the Healthcare business, which qualifies them for the most difficult and challenging assignments.

The new Stanton Chase Basel office will operate under the brand Stanton Chase/Pharma Plan AG in the short to medium term. The combined firm will operate out of offices in Zurich and Basel and will employ seven Consultants and Partners plus staff. While the new partner office in Basel will continue to focus on Life Science mandates, the Stanton Chase Zurich office will grow as a "general" practice firm, covering all relevant industries such as consumer products and services, industrial, technology, financial services and professional services.
