Stanton Chase International ranked among top 10 firms in Global Rankings
Dallas, Texas, USA , October 21, 2005 – Executive recruitment firm Stanton Chase International is among the top ten largest search firms in the world according to the annual ranking of executive search firms by Search-Consult Magazine. Repeating its 7th place ranking for the second year in a row, Stanton Chase continued to widen its global reach in 2005 by adding Helsinki, Finland and Auckland, New Zealand to their network of more than 60 offices.
Stanton Chase confirmed its prominence in the rapidly expanding Asia/Pacific market by once again earning a second place ranking in the region. The strength of the firm in the region not only benefits clients in Asia/Pacific but also clients in other regions with important operations in countries such as China, India and Singapore. For example, last August, members of the Stanton Chase Board of Directors and ten North American offices met with some of their New York area clients and Stanton Chase’s China and India office Managing Directors. The forum allowed key American clients to discuss human capital trends and leadership recruitment management strategies in the region.
Stanton Chase also moved up to fifth from last year’s seventh position in the North American region. Their growth in North America is expected to continue, with plans in place to expand their reach into Boston, Detroit or Cleveland, and Seattle in the US. The firm is also looking to add Canadian offices in Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.
Steve Watson, Global Chairman of Stanton Chase and Managing Director of the Dallas office welcomes the firm’s success in the industry rankings and is confident that clients around the world will see value in the expanding reach of the firm’s locally-owned and operated offices. “Our global reach and local intelligence are valued by our clients who need a networked team of consultants that can blend emerging market knowledge with a further understanding of cultural fit.”
The strength of Stanton Chase in South America was also confirmed by the ranking, as the firm maintained its third place ranking thanks to its nine offices in Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Lima, Mexico City, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago de Chile and São Paulo.
Claudio Fernaud Regional Vice-President, Latin America and Managing Director of the Buenos Aires office notes that the growth of Stanton Chase in the region comes at an opportune time, with favorable economic conditions allowing for significant growth in the demand for executives during 2005. “The demand has been very strong in many of our Industry Practice areas, particularly Consumer Products and Services, Natural Resources and Energy, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Industrial and Technology. This demand has been strongest for executives who know the local culture and have the required qualifications to perform in global companies.“
Stanton Chase’s Global Chair, Steve Watson, is optimistic about the continued growth and success of the firm. “Building on our success, we are now considering Russia, Sweden, Turkey and South Africa as potential areas to include in our global platform as we maintain our entrepreneurial approach to client service.”
Stanton Chase International with its Global Partners manages local, regional and cross-border international campaigns to find the best available executive leadership for client partners through its 60 offices in 39 countries.
