Stanton Chase International Climbs in Global Rankings
Baltimore, Maryland, USA, November 3, 2004 - Stanton Chase International has moved up eight spots to rank seventh of the largest search firms in the world in the annual ranking of executive search firms by Search-Consult Magazine. Moving up from 15th largest firm last year, Stanton Chase has increased its global reach to include 57 offices in 38 countries.
Stanton Chase is poised for further growth, having emerged as the clear leader in the booming Asia Pacific Region for the second year in a row. In 2003, Stanton Chase International added 16 offices in key Asia Pacific markets when the prominent executive search firm Bó Lè Associates joined the firm. “We are best equipped to service global clients who are establishing their presence in China involving large sums of direct investments, for their critical local leadership needs,” explains Louisa Wong Rousseau, Partner and Head of Stanton Chase China. “We are growing at more than 40% per annum, fuelled by a rising demand for executive search assignments from subsidiaries of global corporations.”
Stanton Chase also moved up to third from last year’s fourth position in the South America region. After noticing a significant demand for executive search in the region, the firm moved quickly to establish strong positions in key South American markets. They now service clients in Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Lima, Mexico City, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago de Chile and São Paulo.
“Latin America is typically an importer of executive searches rather than an exporter due to large company headquarters being located outside the region. It made sense to us, then, that we could help reverse the imbalance by going directly to the source,” says José Brogeras, Regional Vice-President, Latin America and Managing Director of the Mexico City office. “We are thrilled with the ranking as it reflects how we continue to conduct a variety of assignments in this region.”
“This is an exciting time for Stanton Chase,” enthuses Ted Muendel, International Chairman of Stanton Chase International from his Baltimore, Maryland office. “We are increasingly successful in securing assignments and building relationships with both major multinationals and aggressive mid-market corporations. Our ability to deliver a global footprint, combined with local insight and contacts is resonating with both clients and the search professionals who are gravitating to Stanton Chase.” By way of example, he cites a recent global preferred provider supplier agreement with Novartis, announced at Stanton Chase International’s Partners Meeting in Vienna, Austria. The agreement with the $25 billion global leader in the pharmaceutical industry is testament to success of Stanton Chase International’s business model.
Stanton Chase International with its Global Partners manages local, regional and cross-border international campaigns to find the best available executive leadership for client partners through its 57 offices in 38 countries.
